“Why a woman smoking is conflicting then a man smoking”(men_only activity)

Social taboos converted into religious prohibition. Isn’t smoking for woman banned in Islam. If smoking is a social taboo for its negative impact on health then it should be stated over the board; the slower rise of smoking in women in comparison with men in Asian society has been attribute to social disapproval of women who smoke and to women’s lower social and economic status but In high-income countries, including Australia, Canada, the United States of America and most countries of western Europe, women smoke at nearly the same rate as men.

  1. Because women usually smell better and smoking doesn’t compliment their beauty. There are already plenty of stinkin’ men so, smoking fits right in. For some reason, men think it’s cool. As if it is a hallmark of achievement. Inmates in prisons or those who are totally gone mentally, in the worst ward in the asylum, can smoke. Man says, Oh, Wow! That person who is a criminal or that person who is completely gone in their mind can smoke, chew, spit and drink, swear, fight and bully and have a tattoo … I think I will do that too and be as cool as they are…

  2. I grew up in a family of smokers in the 1950’s and 60’s, my father and mother & grandfather all smoked. But I don’t smoke, never have, never will. Only 2 of my five sons smoke. I don’t think smoking is “Cool”.

I don’t swear, spit, wear a tattoo or wear body piercing or jewellery. I don’t think any of it is cool. And I only drink in moderation. I don’t fight except in self-defence against hoodlums. And that was often an experience in the 1970’s. There are some places in Sydney where it is not safe to be at night.
